Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 - In the Alpha’s Chamber

"Congratulations Violeta."

The five candidates emerged from the intellect test chamber, their faces etched with emotions ranging from excitement to disappointment.

Rosemary, her fiery red hair cascading down her shoulders, approached Violeta, her green eyes sparkling with admiration. "Violeta," she exclaimed, her voice laced with sincerity, "your brilliance is truly remarkable. You have earned this victory with your sharp mind and unwavering determination."

Violeta's cheeks flushed with a hint of surprise and pleasure.

The other candidates, however, their faces clouded with envy, offered their congratulations with a hint of sarcasm and bitterness. Their words, though polite, conveyed a sense of resentment towards Violeta's success.

"Well, well," murmured Silvana, her voice laced with sarcasm, "it seems Miss Smarty Pants has managed to snag the top spot again."

Amarius, her lips curled into a sneer, added, "I suppose she's just too brilliant for the rest of us mere mortals."

Their congratulations, extended with forced smiles and shallow compliments, were mere facades, masks to hide their true feelings of envy and inadequacy. They felt belittled, overshadowed by Violeta's brilliance, and their resentment festered beneath the surface.

Rosemary, witnessing their thinly veiled contempt, felt a surge of protectiveness towards Violeta. She approached the other candidates, her voice firm yet compassionate, "Violeta's victory is a testament to her abilities. Do not let your envy dim her shine."

Her words, spoken with conviction, struck a chord with the other candidates. It silenced the murmurs of discontent, and the other candidates, albeit reluctantly, nodded in agreement.

"Thank you, Rosemary." Violeta, her heart filled with gratitude, thanked Rosemary for her support.

The intellect test was over, but the competition for the Omega Vampire Server position had just begun.

As the echoes of congratulations faded away, Rosemary retreated to the solitude of her chamber, a wave of relief washing over her.

The first test was over, and she had emerged unscathed, her determination to escape from this vampire world stronger than ever.

Her room, a sanctuary of serenity amidst the castle's imposing walls, provided a welcome respite from the intensity of the day's events.

Rosemary sank onto the plush bed, her thoughts drifting back to the grueling intellect test.

"His eyes." The vision of the Alpha Vampire's eyes meeting her brought her shivers. Rosemary shook her head, trying to forget what happened in the hall.

Closing her eyes, Rosemary envisioned her escape, the moment when she would finally cast off the shackles of her vampire server identity and reclaim her humanity. She pictured herself stepping into the sunlight, feeling the warmth on her skin, breathing the fresh air, tasting freedom.

The escape was inevitable, the day of her liberation drawing closer with each passing moment. Rosemary would not be a prisoner forever. She would break free from this vampire world and reclaim her life, her freedom, her humanity.

"Miss Ventayan." Someone knocked at the door.

"Yes"

"Master Vernon wants to see you."

As the summons from the Alpha Vampire echoed through her ears, Rosemary's heart pounded in her chest, her pulse quickening with fear.

Rosemary knew that the Alpha Vampire had been watching her closely. She also knew that he was aware of her desire to escape from the vampire world, her longing to reclaim her humanity.

The weight of the summons settled heavily upon Rosemary's shoulders. She knew that she had to tread carefully, to maintain her composure and project an image of confidence and loyalty. She had to convince the Alpha Vampire that she was fully committed to the Selection, while simultaneously keeping her escape plans hidden beneath the surface.

And she must be careful.

————————————————————————-

The companion's footsteps echoed through the silent halls of the castle, each one a drumbeat of dread pounding in Rosemary's chest. She followed the silent figure, her heart pounding against her ribs like a trapped bird, her breath coming in short, shallow gasps.

The journey to the Alpha Vampire's chambers seemed to stretch on forever, each corridor blurring into the next, each turn leading deeper into the heart of the vampire's domain. The air grew heavier, the silence more oppressive, and Rosemary's fear mounted with every step.

She could feel the Alpha Vampire's presence, a palpable force that seemed to seep into her very soul. His power was immense, his authority absolute, and Rosemary felt like a tiny moth fluttering towards an inferno.

As they neared the Alpha Vampire's chambers, Rosemary's senses heightened. The air crackled with an unseen energy, and a low hum vibrated through the stone walls. She could smell the faint scent of darkness, a scent that seemed to seep into her pores and twist her stomach into knots.

The companion stopped before a pair of large, ornate doors, their surfaces carved with intricate symbols that seemed to shift and change in the flickering candlelight. He turned to Rosemary, his eyes glowing with an eerie green light.

"The Alpha Vampire awaits," he whispered, his voice like the rustle of leaves on a grave.

Rosemary nodded, her throat too dry for speech. She took a deep breath, trying to calm the storm of emotions raging within her. Then, with a trembling hand, she pushed open the doors and stepped into the Alpha Vampire's presence.

"Welcome, Rosemary," The Alpha Vampire spoke, his voice deep and resonant, echoing through the grand hall. "You have done well to come when you are summoned. I have been expecting you."

Rosemary, her heart pounding in her chest, forced a smile and bowed her head respectfully. "Thank you, Alpha Vampire," she replied, her voice barely a whisper.

The Alpha Vampire rose from his throne, his imposing figure towering over Rosemary. He circled her slowly, his eyes never leaving hers, as if he could read her very soul.

"What a shame that you have lost today. I knew you were the first one who solved the puzzle but you resisted to speak out the answer. I wonder why is that." he said, his voice cutting through the silence like a sharpened blade.

Rosemary's heart sank. She had hoped that her actions would go unnoticed, that her secret would remain hidden. But the Alpha Vampire, with his keen insight and absolute power, was always one step ahead.

Rosemary's eyes widened in surprise. Would it be punishment, torture, or even death?

"And therefore, I want to show you this." Vernon pointed over to a table in the room. "Come over here."

Rosemary dragged her legs towards the Alpha Vampire. The last thing she wanted would be standing next to the Alpha Vampire.

The Alpha Vampire, a figure of immense power and authority, raised his hand, his voice commanding, "Rosemary, come closer."

Rosemary's heart pounded in her chest, her legs trembling as she stepped forward, her fear palpable. She had never felt so small, so insignificant, in the presence of the Alpha Vampire. His power was overwhelming, his presence commanding, and she felt a primal urge to obey his every word.

As she drew closer, she could sense his aura, a palpable energy that seemed to radiate from his very being. It was both intoxicating and terrifying, a mix of desire and fear that coursed through her veins.

The Alpha Vampire's eyes met hers, and a shiver ran down her spine. His gaze was piercing, hypnotic, and she felt herself drawn into his depths. She could feel his power, his control, and she knew that she was powerless to resist his will.

"Rosemary," he whispered, his voice like velvet, "I want to see your true potential."

Fear gripped her heart, but she could not disobey. Gathering her courage, she opened her eyes wide and looked at the maze model he pointed at.

"This is the model for tomorrow's test." Vernon pointed at one of the corners of the maze. "As you know, we will put multiple monsters in there, and that corner would be a devil mermaid."

The Alpha Vampire slowly moved towards the back of Rosemary, instructing her the details of the maze. His breath flew towards Rosemary's right face, she could smell a scent of whisky, she knew it too well, it was the Alpha's scent, the scent that he used whenever he wanted her to obey him.

Vernon suddenly sat on the chair in front of the maze model, pulling Rosemary to sit on his lap.

"And here is the way you want to go, to avoid the mermaid and the giant at the right corner." Vernon was too close to her, but she could not resist with the Alpha's Whisky scent lingering in her noses, instead, she uncontrollably released some of her Omega Rose scent.

The Alpha Vampire's finger gradually went from pointing at the maze to lightly grabbing Rosemary's waist. His hands moved upward and slipped into Rosemary's dress. She was wearing a gown-style dress and his hands could easily reach her breasts.

He unlocked the white underwear that bound the two groups of snowy breasts, the round and proud breasts seemed to have been suppressed for a long time, and finally gained release, trembling slightly, the pink beads of the breasts trembled along with Rosemary's trembling body, and constantly trembled in front of The Alpha Vampire's eyes.
