Golden Halo from around Yuta's hand, and golden lightning, though faint was still visible around Yuta. He for good measure decided to use around 20% of ROFA.
"This…" Ace on the side saw this golden Halo on Yuta's hand and felt a very familiar feeling. He can't pinpoint why but this felt familiar.
If only the colour of the Halo was white and not golden then maybe it would have clicked inside his head. It wasn't his fault though, two people can't have the power of one devil fruit.
'ROFA 20, shock Overdrive.' Yuta swung his fist back and then punched towards the upcoming ships.
Crack…
And the next second the air itself around his fist cracked, making almost everyone slag jaw and their eyes pop out.
"He…he…he… punch the air. And shatter it." Nami was shaking as she pointed towards the shattered space in front of her.
Even Zoro And Sanji were surprised, let alone Usopp and Chopper.
Only Luffy was bouncing like a monkey after seeing this.
"This… no it can't be. How you have this power…" But the real shocker was none other than the captain of the second regiment of Whitebeard Pirates.
Yuta knew why Ace was acting like this, a smirked appearance on his face, but he didn't say anything becuase what he just did was just the starting. The real attack was about to start.
Thud….
Suddenly the Merry shooked, got slammed by a sudden shift in the waves, almost making everyone fall over.
However, that was just the beginning, bigger waves started to form, they all originated from Merry and started to rush towards the upcoming Navy ships. Waves which were up to 10 to 20 meters started to rush towards the upcoming Navy ships.
"Wohhhh." Nami's eyes widened looking at his, still shaking the destruction in front of her as she saw 8 or so ships getting sunk in the sea by a particularly large wave.
"This… this…what did you do." Usopp being Ussop, was the first one to rush to Sanji and grab him by the leg, just in case those waves hit Merry in anyway.
Chooper was the same with Zoro. Nami in this case was at least a little better.
"Hey Ussop let me go, my legs are only for women for holding." Sanji said as he pushed Ussop off him, or at least he tried.
"No way, what if those waves come this way."
"SO COOOL." Luffy shouted, his eyes were shining like stars in the night. Looking at Yuta with bright eyes, he was just about to say those magical words, when it started it all for everyone but before he did so, someone called out.
"How… how you have this power." Ace asked, this time he was more agitated than earlier,
"There is no way you can have this power. Impossible." Ace asked while glaring daggers at Yuta.
"Ah, it's just a little trick I learned by mimicking one of the strongest man in the sea. I almost forgot that you are from his pirate group. You should know what I just did right." Yuta still maintains his usual cheerful behaviour.
"Mimic." Ace knew that the only way a person could have similar devil fruit power as someone else's is to kill that person and then find that devil fruit. Because there exists no devil fruit which which gives similar powers.
However, at the same time, though he saw the boy perform an attack similar to his father, there is no way Ace gonna believe that his father, the strongest man in the world is dead.
"Yeah, Whitebeard has eaten Shock Shock fruit right. I have heard about it." Yuta smiled and then raised his fist, which had the same halo of shock around him.
The only difference between this one and the one Whitebeard was the colour and of course the power.
Yuta's shock power was nothing in comparison to Whitebeard.
"How did you mimic it." Ace pondered about this, though he had a hard time believing what Yuta said but there was no other reason this fit why he was able to use the power of Shock just like his father.
"Well that's a trade secret, but I will give you a hint, consider it a thanks for paying for my meal.
It's about the vibration of atomic substances. As long as one can recreate the same frequency of vibration, creating shock just like how I did is possible. One doesn't even need to be a Devil Fruit User." Yuta quickly made the most believable bullshit he can come up with.
Ace on the other hand, just like Luffy didn't understand all the vibration parts but it sounded legit so he bought it.
"I knew you were special when I saw you the first time but this is something else. Dad would be surprised if he knew that there is someone with his power in the sea." Ace muttered, letting go of his reservation finally.
"Hey, you said that anyone can do it right. Teach me…. Teach me teach me teach me…" Luffy instantly shouted, Chooper and Ussop weren't far behind in this either.
"Can you teach me as well ?" Ace sounded embarrassed but there was no way that he would miss out on the chance to use Shock power like his father.
"Hmm sure, but for this you first have to learn Haki. Especially armament Haki." Yuta wasn't taken aback by how all of them jumped at the chance to learn this. How the hell was he supposed to teach this to them, he just made the entire thing up.
Sweating internally he quickly came up with something to distract them.
"Haki ? What that." Ace naturally knew but straw hats had no idea.
"Well, that surely complicates things." Yuta frowns, internally grinning at how he delayed this matter until they learn Haki.
"Well one must first master Armament haki to a certain level before start learning the particular technique of vibration I have invented," Yuta said with a sad smile on his face, like he was sad that he couldn't teach them.
"One Minute what is Haki." Zoro asked, with confusion in his tone.
Luffy was knocking his head, he swore he heard this Haki thing before, it tasted great.
If only he knew how his grandfather hit him all the time, he wouldn't think that way anymore.
"Well, Haki is a power of the sea which can be cultivated by training. There are three types of Haki. Observation Haki, Armament Haki and Conqueror's Haki. That last one is not someone thing just anyone can use, one has to be born with it." Ace intervened at this time.
Explaining Haki to others. Currently, he was the only one who knew about Haki and actually had one Haki learn from him. It was the Conquror's Haki.
"OH, do you have this Haki, Ace ?" Luffy asked.
"Yes, I have the Conqueror's Haki. I unlocked it when I was young. But as for other Haki, I don't have it." Ace shook his head.
"So is this Haki strong." Zoro was the one who asked this now. Hearing this Yuta just smiled, even a little laugh let out from his mouth.
Though Ace understood why Yuta was smiling he didn't say anything. He just observes the boy now. He was getting more and more mysterious.
"What are you laughing at." Zoro already had some tick marks on his face, though Yuta didn't laugh out loud but it was still a little embarrassing.
"Nothing nothing, sorry I just remember a line which suits this situation almost perfectly." Yuta smiled and apologised.
"Line ? What line ?"
"It's simple actually, it's a saying.
Once upon a time, A drunken Dragon said to a monkey. That at the heart of a sea, Haki is the strongest." Yuta grinned.
