Chapter 171 - Chapter 171 : Kill Them All

[Yuta POV]

Standing on the rooftop, hidden in the shadows, I watched the chaos unfold below. Shigaraki had just decayed Overhaul's arm. The van was destroyed, police officers lay scattered around, and Kurogiri's mist hung thick in the air. I sighed heavily, fidgeting with the mask covering my face, it was itchy, I shouldn't have cheap out on this.

"I can't believe I'm stuck doing this," I muttered to myself, peering down at the mess. "All I wanted was to sneak in, kill Overhaul quietly, and sneak out. But nooo, of course, Shigaraki has to show up."

I shifted my weight, adjusting my black gloves. The disguise I wore wasn't exactly comfortable, but it was necessary. I couldn't let anyone know it was me. Why ? Because Heroes don't kill, that's why. Fuck…

I wasn't supposed to kill Overhaul in the first place, even though I really wanted to. I could've finished him off back then, but the stupid rules stopped me. That's why it took so much work around to come back to kill him. Sigh…

"But seriously," I muttered under my breath, "how did Shigaraki of all people manage to show up now? He's like that one annoying fly that buzzes around when you're trying to eat something." Wasn't AFO dead, then why he's still playing Villain ?

My hand twitched, and I felt my frustration building. Now I had to adjust my plan. I wasn't just dealing with Overhaul anymore—I had to take out Shigaraki too. If I didn't, he'd probably just run away with some grand evil plan in mind. And I couldn't have that.

I crouched lower, keeping my eyes locked on them. Overhaul was barely conscious, and Shigaraki, well, he was still gloating. Typical.

"Great, just great," I grumbled. "Now I have to kill two villains instead of one. I better don't hold back like usual and finish here fast."

But deep down, I was kind of excited. With Shikaraki death, there shouldn't be anyone else left in the Mha story which cause trouble.

"You know, this would be easier if I didn't have to hide," I complained to myself again, adjusting my hood. "If I could just show up and punch them into the ground, I'd be home by now." But no can't do, I have to kill them in a way that others don't realized my identity. So I rather end this quick.

I stood up, cracking my neck and rolling my shoulders. Time to move. There was no point in waiting any longer.

I dropped silently from the rooftop, landing behind a building near the wrecked convoy. I could hear Shigaraki talking, still mocking Overhaul. He didn't even notice me yet. Perfect.

Alright, Yuta, focus.

Step one: Get in there. With a deep breath, I activated One For All at full power, feeling the energy surge through my body. Every muscle felt like it was on fire, but in a good way. I wasn't going to let these two escape, not tonight.

Time to move.

In a blink, I used Time Skip. Everything around me slowed to a crawl, the world nearly frozen. I could see Overhaul's confused expression, his eyes barely registering my presence. Shigaraki was next to him, mid-turn, his hand reaching for something.

Step two: Kill Overhaul.

Without hesitation, I shot forward, my speed leaving a blur behind me. My knife connected with Overhaul's chest, and before he even knew what hit him, he was down. No dramatic speeches. No second chances. He was done.

Step three: Take out Shigaraki.

I didn't waste a second. Launching another Time Skip, I pivoted towards Shigaraki. He barely had time to register what was happening before I was in front of him. His hand twitched, likely trying to activate his Decay quirk. Too slow.

I struck. A clean, powerful thrust with knife to his side, cutting him and damaging his ribs before he could react. His body crumpled to the ground next to Overhaul's.

With both of them lying motionless on the ground, I took a step back, catching my breath. It was over. Just like that.

"Step four?" I muttered to myself, smirking. "Get out of here before anyone realizes what I've done."

'Run Run no Jutsu…

The news of the raid on Shie Hassaikai spread like wildfire across Japan, making headlines everywhere. Every channel was showing footage of the aftermath: Overhaul, a notorious villain who had been producing and supplying quirk-suppressing drugs, was finally captured. But what shocked the public even more was the revelation of the horrifying truth—that Overhaul had been using his own daughter, Eri, to manufacture these drugs, extracting her DNA to create quirk-destroying bullets.

She wasn't her Daughter but who will tell that to the new agency.

The revelation sent shockwaves through the country. People were disgusted and enraged at the cruelty of Overhaul's actions. Parents, especially, were horrified at the thought of a man harming his own child for personal gain. Social media platforms exploded with comments, debates, and calls for justice. Hashtags like #SaveEri and #StopOverhaul began trending immediately, with people demanding swift and severe punishment for the villain.

But another part of the story that captured everyone's attention was the fact that three UA students were responsible for taking him down, and among them was the rising star, Yuta. Yuta had already become a household name after his legendary fight against All For One, and now, he was back in the spotlight. News anchors couldn't stop mentioning his involvement, and headlines like "The Dynamic Strick" were plastered everywhere.

"Not only did Yuta defeat All For One, but now he's saved Eri and helped bring down a dangerous criminal operation. This young hero is proving himself time and time again."

People couldn't get enough of Yuta. His fanbase, which had already been growing rapidly, now exploded to new heights.

"What he's done is incredible," one fan said in an interview on TV. "He's still a student, but he's already accomplished so much! It's amazing to see someone so young be so powerful and courageous. I can't wait to see what he does next!"

But not all news was about Yuta, news about both Izuku and Mirio also came. Good thing that they still had the prohibitional Hero's license. Otherwise they might have been fell under the act of illegally using there quirk. They were still not Pro Heroes after all.
