Chapter 34 - Chapter 34 : Sport Festival 7

Tokayami is a steadfast kind of guy, with the dark shadows is he quite powerful. But there are also problems with his quirk. Dark Shadow is just like a summon, and Tokayami play a summoner here.

Any summon-type character like Kankuro from Naruto, Megumi from Jujutsu Kaisen or Tokayami here has a inherent weakness. They themselves are not as good as their summon characters. Mostly weak enough that if targeted directly they will die.

The only question here is how to target him when Dark Shadow usually stay so close to him.

Yuta waited, but there was nothing. Once again there was no notification from the system. It was strange.

Usually, this system gives any kind of small quest, so why not now?

Maybe it will only give a quest at the finals. Possible!

.

.

.

Yuta found himself on the stage waiting for the match to start and against him was standing. Tokoyami.

'Still now no quest. Strange but can't do anything about it. Not like I am satisfied by all the rewards I have gotten from the system in the sports festival either.

What I got was a sports drink and a wig. That last one is not even something I want to think about anymore. He didn't even read the wig notification fully, part he didn't have enough time, all that vendor's fault and the part he wasn't just interested.

Shaking his head in silence he put his all focus on the upcoming fight.

"Good Luck," all Yuta said to Tokoyami before the match started. Tokoyami just like Yuta didn't believe in much talking just nodded his head and took a fighting position.

As soon as the fight started, Tokoyami released his dark shadow and rushed at Yuta.

[Hero Time 1 hour remaining]

Yuta quickly saw how much Hero Time he had remaining. If possible he rather uses the least amount of Hero Time to Beat Tokoyami. That would be ideal, both in just a mere game or when fighting for his life against a villain.

BUT...

He didn't use OFA right off the bat, although saving Hero Time is essential for him if he wants to survive but that doesn't mean he doesn't learn more about his own quirk with just wasting Hero Time in mind.

So rather than just punching the bird's face out of the ring, he first opened his Sharingan and targets dark shadow.

He wanted to see whether he could influence dark shadow's minds with his illusion. If this is possible then doing the same with Nomu too should be possible, Right?

So while making sure that he stayed away from Dark Shadow range which wasn't much in this sunny day, He activated his Sharingan.

And to his surprise, it worked.

Dark Shadow who was running around to attack him stood at one position after he used Sharingan on him.

But that was for only a few seconds at best. Just like how upon using the basic illusion on any normal human.

Usually, basic illusion costs him 1 minute of his hero time by the way randomly putting the target in a situation where his movements will be halted.

In other cases, he can completely restrain someone for a few seconds at the cost of one minute of his Hero Time.

Maybe this time will Rise if he is fighting stronger enemies, Maybe.

Yuta was now in the testing phase so he refrained from acting against Tokoyami. He even acted like he was confused when dark shadows suddenly stopped chasing him.

'Okay let's try to make a custom Illusion here,' Yuta thought but this time he will be targeting Tokoyami.

He planned to simulate as if Dark Shadow was going out of control in the dark. Let's see how much it will cost him time-wise and how well it goes.

So Yuta after putting enough focus on his illusion and crafting what he wanted to be projected in the illusion activated his Sharingan again.

And that was enough, That almost froze Tokayami in his tracks. Completely not moving like a robot out of power.

He waited for a minute, still intending to see whether Tokoyami could break his Illusion or he show any kind of movement while still inside the illusion.

But there was nothing. He actually thought that Tokoyami's body would act just like how he would be acting inside the Illusion but that wasn't the case.

The raven head was just standing there in a daze, after another minute Yuta planned to act.

With simple movement, he grabbed Tokoyami by the back of his shirt and threw him out of the ring.

And surprisingly that was when Tokoyami broke out of Illusion. Just when he hit the ground.

This gives Yuta some insides about how the Illusion of his Sharingan works.

And with this Yuta won the fight without delivering even a single punch.

Just to see how much it cost him, Yuta pulled his status and saw this.

[Hero Time 49 Minutes Remaining]

'Shit, that last Illusion took 10 minutes out of my Hero Time. That's too much,'

Yuta almost choked after seeing how costly custom Illusion was. Maybe he should only stick with basic Illusions or a more enhanced version of that. Not the custom once if possible.

.

.

.

With a complicated mood, Yuta went back to the audience seat. Though the power itself was very good its cost quite a bit. He can't overuse this.

And besides Illusion, his eyes currently were only good for close combat fighting and cheating in written exams, Heheehehe.

But he was happy, having more powers is always a good thing.

So he rejoins his friends to see the next upcoming fight.

The next two fights were interesting but the Yuta already knew the outcome of the fights.

The second fight was between Bakugo and Kirishima. Bakugo won, at least this time it was really a fight and not a one-sided slaughter. Kirishima tried hard but Bakugo's quirk is really kind of buggy to some degree.

The third match was between Tenya and Ibara (The girl with a vine for hairs). Tenya won this easily, maybe Ibara only won against Kaminari becuase she has some degree of protection against electricity. Or at least Yuta believe so.

The last fight was the real interesting fight here.

It was between Izuku Midoriya vs Todoroki Shoto.

And to even Yuta's surprise, it went much like the anime. While Izuku didn't break his hands left and right. The mere 5 to 6 per cent of OFA wasn't just enough to handle Shoto.

And Midorya acting like the Hero he wanted to be, made Todoroki use his fire. Once that happened there was no way Izuku was winning.

Winner Todoroki.
