The city was in chaos. High-End Nomu Hood was wreaking havoc, flying around and destroying buildings with immense strength.
It was strange how just a second ago everything was silent and the next second all hell broke loose.
The streets were filled with the sound of crumbling concrete and the cries of terrified civilians. Nomu wasn't alone; he commanded other Nomu to spread destruction across the city, creating utter pandemonium.
In the midst of this chaos, two figures made their way to a hospital as a portal opened, connecting two places through a space-time loop.
Disguised by the destruction, Shigaraki and Kurogiri slipped inside, their goal clear. They were searching for a certain someone to kill.
But despite searching every corner of the hospital, they couldn't find him. Frustration etched across Shigaraki's face, and Kurogiri's calm demeanour began to show signs of impatience.
"Where is he, was the report was wrong? What's going on." Shigaraki almost shouted as he started to itch all around while looking at Kurogiri.
"He was supposed to be here? I am sure the report wasn't wrong." Kurogiri replied with confusion on his face.
Outside, the battle between Endeavor, the current number one hero, and the High-End Nomu Nomu raged on.
Apparently, Endeavour was the first one to rush up to confront the villain, quite eager to be honest, after all, he has to show that he is the number one hero now.
Endeavour's flames roared with intensity as he launched powerful attacks at Nomu, but none of them seemed to have any effect.
Nomu's regeneration and strength were overwhelming. Every time Endeavor landed a blow, Nomu quickly recovered, his body mending almost instantly.
The Nomu was attacked mindlessly but by no means that he was as like those other stupid Nomu. It was smart and slowly was adapting to Endeavor attacks and fighting powers.
Endeavor gritted his teeth, pushing himself harder. He unleashed wave after wave of fire, each hotter than the last. "I won't let you destroy this city!" he shouted, determination burning in his eyes. But no matter how intense his flames grew, Nomu seemed impervious. The Nomu's resilience was staggering.
The city's skyline was illuminated by the clash of fire and brute force. Buildings crumbled under the weight of their battle, and the air was thick with smoke and debris. Civilians watched in horror, hoping that Endeavor could somehow turn the tide.
Meanwhile, in the hospital, Shigaraki and Kurogiri's search grew more frantic. They checked room after room, but Yuta was nowhere to be found. "We're running out of time, Shigaraki," Kurogiri warned, his voice a low rumble.
Shigaraki's eyes narrowed. "He's here somewhere. Keep looking." Shigaraki shouted frantically.
As Endeavor continued his battle, he realized he needed to try something different. He still had one card under his belt, his most powerful move. But that will damage the city too much.
He can't use that here in the middle of the city. But besides that, he just doesn't see any other way to kill this villain.
Nomu lunged at Endeavor, his massive fist crashing into the hero's side and sending him flying through the air. Endeavour slammed into a building, the impact creating a cloud of dust and debris. Pain shot through his body, but he forced himself to stand.
He didn't want to admit this but he could use help just about now. But the problem is that there is almost no powerful hero around here who can help him in this area.
And he rather die over asking for help from All Might.
Back inside the hospital, Shigaraki and Kurogiri had reached the end of their patience. "He's not here," Kurogiri said, his tone final.
Shigaraki clenched his fists, frustration boiling over. "We'll find him. He is definitely hiding somewhere around here, jus...."
"We are out of time Shigaraki. The boy is not here." Kurogiri was firm with his tone. He didn't want to stick around here anymore. That was dangerous.
His firm tone didn't give any other way for Shigaraki to refute, he just had to leave without even so much so seeing his target.
As they prepared to leave, they could hear the distant sounds of the battle between Endeavor and Nomu. The city was still in peril, but their mission was a failure. Shigaraki's mind raced with thoughts of their next move, already planning how they would locate Yuta.
Outside, Endeavor struggled to his feet. The Nomu was punching him down hard, sending him crashing to the floor as he slashed at the highway while broking some of his bones.
A groan came out of his as he saw the Nomu rushing at him with another attack ready. The Nomu was still burning due to Endeavor's fire but still, he was able to launch an attack powerful enough to beat Endeavor.
And yes he was no All Might but still Endveavor was still powerful on his own right.
Seeing the Nomu coming at him, Endeavor gritted his teeth and got ready.
But just when the attack was about to connect, he saw a figure appearing in front of him.
BOOM...
