The long journey finally ended, Ivander got off his horse, walking slowly while leading his tired horse. His heartbeat suddenly changed rapidly making him slightly abandon his intention to meet Riana. From a distance, the house he missed could be seen, Ivander had just passed the garden area that brought up memories with the girl who made him feel like this.
A middle-aged man was seen carrying several baskets into the house, making a big question mark in Ivander's head. "Who is he?"
Ivander quickened his pace, he wanted to make sure that he didn't get the wrong address. The house hadn't changed since he was last there, but he didn't see Riana.
"Excuse me, is this your house?" Ivander asked politely to the middle-aged man.
The man shook his head, "I only work here, are you looking for a place to stay?"
Ivander's appearance was clearly like someone who had just finished a long journey, it was also evident from his tired face.
"Maybe you can rest for a while here, but I can't allow you to stay overnight. I'll show you the nearest inn after I finish work." The man said again without waiting for Ivander's answer.
Ivander could see that the man was indeed busy with several baskets filled with fruits, it seemed like he had just picked the fruit harvest in the garden. Ivander also did not refuse the offer to rest for a moment, he was really very tired.
