As Vargus and Rosaline turned to leave, a briskly approaching figure swiftly emerged from the depths of the auction house. The man, in his thirties, was dressed sharply, radiating authority and professionalism with each determined step. He was unmistakably a manager here, his urgent pace underscoring the gravity of the situation.

"Sir, please don't leave yet," he called out, his voice a blend of firmness and regret. Reaching Vargus and Rosaline, he quickly added, "I apologize for the conduct of our staff."

Vargus, his face a mask of courteous restraint mingled with visible irritation, replied coolly, "Your apologies seem sincere, but actions speak louder than words. This kind of reception is unacceptable."

The manager's eyes flickered with understanding and a flash of anger directed not at Vargus, but towards the offending guards. Turning sharply to the guards, his voice boomed with authority, "You are dismissed—effective immediately. Today you are fired."
