Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: The Treants

Kaito was sitting all alone in the training ground while wondering what had happened to the drive it had appeared suddenly and disappeared as quickly. An announcement reverberated through the dorm, "all the member of the lotus group you are asked to quickly go in the building BC 4785 to start your training anyone who appeared late will be severely punished."

As Kaito entered the building (BC 4785), he analyzed his surrounding and saw 123 members of the Lotus group but his thoughts were stopped by a voice. "Everybody sits, we have too much to cover and very little time," said Master Haruka.

Part 1: The lecture

"Welcome, young disciples of the Lotus," Master Haruka began, her voice carrying a melody that echoed through the tranquil room.

"Today, we will cover the mystical realm of Treants, ancient guardians of the forest, and explore their unique abilities, strengths, and vulnerabilities".

She gestured toward a towering Treant that was her companion named Sylvan heart, who stood sentinel nearby, its bark-like skin was surrounded with moss and leaves. "Behold Sylvan heart, a venerable guardian and embodiment of nature's resilience. Treants, my dear students, are living manifestations of the forest's will."

Master Haruka paced gracefully as she continued her lecture, her words weaving a tapestry of knowledge for the eager minds before her. "Treants possess extraordinary strength, rooted in their connection to the very essence of the natural world. Their limbs are as sturdy as ancient oak, capable of withstanding the mightiest blows."

The youngsters listened attentively as Master Haruka explained the story of the Treants. "One of their greatest abilities is their power to commune with nature. They can communicate with the flora and fauna around them, creating an intricate network of information that spans the entire forest. This symbiosis grants them unparalleled situational awareness."

She pointed to Sylvan heart's massive limbs, emphasizing their significance. "In battle, Treants can manipulate the earth itself. Their ability to control roots and vines allows them to entangle adversaries, restricting their movements and rendering them vulnerable to attacks."

Master Haruka then shifted her focus to the vulnerabilities of Treants. "Despite their formidable strength, Treants are not invincible. Fire, my students, is their weakness. The intensity of flames disrupts the delicate balance within them, leaving them susceptible to harm. Additionally, severing their connection to the earth weakens their regenerative abilities."

The young disciples absorbed the knowledge, their eyes reflecting a newfound understanding of the Treants' nature. Master Haruka concluded her lecture.

"Now, student, does anyone have a question? asked Master Haruka.

"Master Haruka, is there any other way that doesn't require the usage of flames to kill Treants? "Asked a member of the Lotus group.

In response to the student's question, Master Haruka provided brief insights into alternate strategies for defeating a Treants without using fire or cutting its link to nature. Celestial warding to disrupt the Treants celestial connection, Aetherial dissonance to interfere with its life force, crystal shattering with strategically placed crystals, a petrification potion that induces vulnerability, engaging in illusions with an arcane doppelganger, manipulating gravity to challenge its support, and harnessing temporal magic for rapid aging were among the options. These innovative solutions proved Master Haruka's wisdom, presenting the disciples with a new perspective on unexpected paths to triumph.

"Dear students to prove the defeat of the Treants you killed, you will need to bring back its energy core therefore proving your win, and now get outside so that you can start your physical training" Master Haruka finalized.

Part 2: The one and only Alexander.

The students immediately rushed outside to avoid facing Master Haruka's anger. When they got out, they found a man who directed them to the next room to train

In the dim room, a man whose appearance looked as though he was in his early forties stood at six and a half feet, exuding a commanding presence. His broad, sculpted physique and rugged features spoke of a life dedicated to physical prowess and resilience.

With deep-set, steel-gray eyes, he scanned the room, revealing a gaze that held both authority and a keen awareness. Dressed in dark, form-fitting attire, he moved with measured confidence, every step resonating with an aura of controlled power.

Calloused and scarred hands hinted at battles fought and victories earned, while a subtle tattoo spoke of a life lived on the edge. His voice, carrying the weight of experience, revealed a depth of wisdom that had accrued over time.

The air around him seemed to ripple with invisible energy, acknowledging his presence. In his forties, he stood as a captivating figure, a blend of maturity and enduring strength, leaving the room with an unspoken sense of stories untold.

Part 3: The starting step

"Now all of you make a line to defeat Treants attack you need to learn how to resist absolute strength, therefore you need to do your best to resist my punch. To make it easy for you, I'm only going to use a one-inch punch," said the instructor.

His name, whispered in hushed tones among those who knew him, was Alexander Darrow.

And soon the line of pain and torture started the members who were behind the only thing they could hear was screams of pains and medics going in to take care of the hurt one and going out with people spitting blood and laying down. Kaito was also among the people who were behind, and when they got near, they started to see Alexander telling the first on line to resist and endure his punch and all of them were being projected into the wall due to the punch's force.

Soon it was Kaito's turn to approach Alexander, and Alexander told him, "Would you care to tell me your name?" "of course my name is Void" answered Kaito, ,"Void, could you tell me your real name, asked Alexander.

"I think void will suffice, don't you think? Answered Void.

"Okay, let's begin. Stand here and resist my punch, said Alexander.

Alexander Darrow faced off against Void, Alexander Darrow, with a predatory look in his steel-gray eyes, unleashed the one-inch punch—a technique that had shattered the resolve of many. Void, as stoic force , stood unwavering, The one-inch punch collided with Void's chest, causing a burst of kinetic energy that seemed to defy the laws of physics. In that moment, the air hung heavy with the expectation of an inevitable defeat. However, Void, with an indomitable will, resisted the force that threatened to engulf him. As the impact lingered, a silent struggle played out in the stillness of the chamber. Void, the embodiment of emptiness, channeled the resilience of his essence. But the force applied by Alexander Darrow was unyielding—an irresistible tide that pushed against the emptiness itself. Void's silhouette strained against the pressure; the clash of energies was audible like a distant thunderstorm. The resistance echoed in the depths of the chamber, a testament to the ethereal battle transpiring within the boundaries of reality. Cracks began to spiderweb across Void's form, a visual representation of the strain on his incorporeal being. The impact, unrelenting, fractured the emptiness, breaking some of Void's ribs as if they were delicate strands of glass. Yet Void persisted, his resolve unbroken even as pain danced across his enigmatic features. In a moment that defied the expectations of both combatants, Void, resilient and unyielding, broke free from the grasp of the one-inch punch. The force, no longer contained, unleashed its fury, propelling Void backward with unstoppable momentum. The impact with the wall reverberated through the chamber, leaving behind a crater that bore witness to the magnitude of the clash. Dust and shadows mingled in the aftermath as Void, battered

Then Alexander Darrow looked at the lying body of void and said, "If that's all you've got, forget about entering our organization."

Suddenly, the eyes of the Void lit with an aura of rage and fury as he was lying covered in his own blood and said, "Soon, I will be the one who sends you into the wall while puking blood."
