"I said I want to help you find the demons hiding within the city," Zach replied with a stern look on his face. This was his first step in seriously changing his own fate so he knew how important it was in finding even just a single demon in the city.
If he could really find a demon in the city, it would really help him in finding out one if not both of the demons on his wanted list.
Lily was left speechless by what he said. She could see in his eyes that he wasn't lying.
But it didn't make sense why he would suddenly want to help her.
She wondered why Zach would want to help her find the demons hiding within the city.
She also wondered if he was just a really good liar.
Maybe that would explain why she couldn't perceive his trickery.
