Theodore and the others took about 10 hours to reach the downtown area. The base was already very close, but Theodore could see that many other cars intended to enter it.
Theodore didn't know why these people didn't immediately enter the base but instead spread out on the streets leading to it. Since there were many cars there, Theodore could see that the number of zombies around the streets was not too many.
"Looks like these guys have killed most of the zombies here," Chelsea said as she looked around her crowded surroundings.
"But why are they still here and not going into the base?" Theodore finally said, the curiosity that was bothering his head.
"I don't know. There's definitely something wrong at the base, and it's making these people stay here," Chelsea replied, shrugging her shoulders indifferently.
