Theodore was not happy when he heard Madeline's words. If they continued this journey, they would be confronted by zombies roaming the streets. Not only that, but Theodore knew very well that zombies became more violent at night.
"I have something to ask you. Have you ever been off base?" Theodore asked Madeline and looked at her sharply through the rearview mirror.
Madeline chuckled when Theodore asked, "My group has never done a mission outside the base. But you know that we need to find the captain's belongings immediately."
"That's true, but we'll be eaten by zombies if we insist on traveling at night," Theodore explained while holding back his anger at Madeline.
"No matter what you say, I don't want to waste time. We need to find that thing as soon as possible," Madeline retorted with a smug look, not wanting to hear any more of Theodore's ramblings.
