At first, Theodore could sleep comfortably, not thinking about the hard bedding; he could sleep soundly because he was too tired. However, his deep sleep was immediately broken when Theodore felt the truck he was riding in stopped suddenly.
Theodore's face almost hit the truck's wall. Fortunately, he could immediately wake up and hold himself. Theodore wanted to be angry, but he knew that there was no way the soldier driving the truck would be that careless.
Theodore reluctantly decided to wake up to ask what had happened to the others; the others were already excited before he woke up.
"What's going on?" Theodore held one side of his head and asked his friends, who were also behind this truck.
"It looks like it's going to be hard for us to get back to base. There are a lot of zombies on the streets!" one of the soldiers guarding the truck said in a trembling voice.
