Theodore wasn't too worried about the zombies downstairs because the current zombies were still in the early stages, so they wouldn't be too aggressive, and their intelligence had yet to develop.
But, just in case, he ordered Neville to pay attention to the movement of the zombies downstairs.
Roderick was the first to try the slide Cassian had made for them. Everyone was watching Roderick slide into the truck bed. They were anxious because they had to rack their brains if this method didn't work.
"The slide is working great! The others can get off soon!" Roderick immediately shouted to report his situation when he was already inside the truck.
