Two military cars could be seen in the distance. Theodore recognized them, as he had seen many such cars when he had walked to the barracks before. It was only now that Theodore could confirm that the cars were used to take workers to their sections.
"You're finally back, Geo; we've been waiting for you!"
As Theodore and Geoffrey approached one of the military cars, they were greeted by a middle-aged man who seemed to be the leader of these workers. Theodore did not say anything and just observed them silently.
"Sir, this is the person Captain Victor gave us," Geoffrey said excitedly to the middle-aged man.
The middle-aged man patted Theodore's shoulder lightly, smiling friendly. "You can call me Walter. I am the appointed leader of the labour group here. I hope you can feel at home working with us," Walter said kindly.
"Given that I'm new here, I don't know what to do. I hope you can help me." Theodore politely extended his hand to Walter.
