"Ashton, stop! You're killing yourself by exerting my powers right now!" Callista warned as the boy flew dramatically in the air. He wasn't used to taking such a flight and that was arguably his first time controlling wings since he had never possessed one until now.
"Ashton!" Callista called again but he wouldn't listen. She tried to take control of his body again just like she had done when they were in the land of the barren but Ashton's mind was clouded like an array had been etched in him which was not giving way for Callista to take over his body.
