He raised his head up at Master Chen ready to seek what the answer to what he had said to him meant as that simple statement carried a lot of endangering weight in it.
"Prepare myself for what?"
"A war might ensue because of you, Ashton. We are barely holding up the war with the Arkillians with our other Mages who have been dispatched to various areas in this world and they are slowly dying…the same reason why new students are being trained from time to time so they can also protect this world with their elemental ability. Let me tell you this, the Arkillians are withdrawing their attacks and the only plausible reason for why this is going on with them is that they are preparing their army to advance at us all at once."
"But,..." Ashton began to say with a stutter as it seems he had just been thrown into a web of confusion by Master Chen's words. "What about the mutants we've been encountering? Are they not one of them?"
