Nicolai stared at the picture that Ariana had posted. It was a picture of her and another man who was holding her by her shoulders and the two of them were laughing at something. Why the fuck were they even laughing?
What made it even worse than the fact that the man was holding her was the caption underneath the post.
[Thank you for looking out for me, Ariana, I am glad to have these late-night chats with you.]
And in response to his post, Ariana actually replied to him with a smiley face.
[Anything for you, Trey.]
Anything for him? Anything?
Nicolai didn't even think as he hit the send button before heading out of his room. He knew that he was going to regret it but he needed to see that woman; if she thought that a few weeks of absence was enough for her to replace him, then she was wrong.
Sometimes he wondered if it was better to just kill every single person who took her attention or affection away from him.
