"She is out of danger for the time being," Doctor Stoll told Nicolai. "I have given her medicine to calm her agitated nerves, she will be fine. Of course, as the medicine is on the heavier side, she will not wake up till the night or tomorrow morning."
He then turned to look at Theodore and Kaylyn who seemed to be teetering on the edge of asking what was wrong with Ariana but Doctor Stoll interrupted them by saying, "Please do not ask me anything. I do not have the permission of Miss Harlow to disclose her condition to anyone. I believe that you will also not want to betray her trust, right?"
His words blocked every question and query that Kaylyn had; indeed, she did not wish to betray Ariana's trust when she had not even gained it.
