Ariel's evening had been ruined from the second when she saw Ariana step inside the ballroom. She knew that her sister was pretty, but this was her first time seeing Ariana appear in front of her, looking so ethereally beautiful.
It made her feel destabilized and uncomfortable.
Seeing Ariana take away the attention as well as the spotlight from her left Ariel panting in rage. Words simply failed to describe what Ariel was feeling at that moment.
Earlier she was longingly expecting to see Ariana dressed in some cheap rag and getting embarrassed by the guests which would provide her with entertainment. Only then would Ariana have understood the difference between herself and Ariel.
But Ariana turned up in a gown which seemed even pricier than her, that too with Nicolai by her side.
She also embarrassed her by giving that nasty and weird dare.
