Crack.
Ari looked at the teacup that had fallen from her hands and immediately stepped back. The hot tea spilled all over the floor, fortunately, Ari was quick enough to pull her feet back or else she would have to make another trip to the hospital.
The sound of paws hitting the clean floor echoed behind her and Ari turned around to look at Timmy who was running towards her.
"Woof! Woof!" Timmy stood next to Ari as he pulled on her sleeves with his sharp teeth. He was trying to pull her away from the harm's way.
"I am fine," Ari's eyes softened as she looked at Timmy. With her hand outstretched she ruffled the fur on his head. Timmy let her ruffle his fur but at the same time, he pulled her back. "I have to clean it up, Timmy. We no longer have maids and servants in the house. If I don't clean it no one else will, what will we do if we step on these broken shards?"
