"I did hear about it," Ariana responded with a light frown while waiting for Inez to speak.
"Oh. Don't look at me like that," Inez smiled at her when she saw the frown on Ariana's face. "I assure you that I am not here to hand you a million dollar cheque and ask you to leave my son."
Ariana smiled at the light hearted joke before asking, "Then… is there something that you wanted to talk about?"
Inez pursed her lips, when she didn't speak Ariana wondered if she had applied a glue stick on her lips instead of lipgloss for she seemed to be having a hard time prying her lips open. However, a second later she said to Ariana, "I have to say that I am quite surprised by your decision to stay with my son. I mean, it's not everyday I hear a woman accepting my son for who he is instead of caring about his position and money."
"Don't tell me that he has his own good points when I know how wild he can be."
