At that moment, Noah's emotions were rather complicated. For his entire life, he had inexplicably hated Ariana. So when he found out that the girl who saved him was Ariel, he never thought of investigating the truth as he felt relieved that it was her.
To make matters worse, Ariel also knew keen and minute details that no one should have known.
He believed that no one would be foolish enough to share such information with someone else and let them take their credit.
So, Noah never once doubted Ariel.
However, even if he wanted to delude himself into believing that it was Ariel who saved him, Noah could not do it. Not anymore, especially after finding out that Ariel had never suffered any injury to her back.
