Ariana turned her attention to the screen of her phone and her expression changed when she saw who was calling her.
"Go ahead," Jeremy was lying on the bed and didn't see the name of the caller, with his hands placed on his abdomen he said to Ariana, "If it's Noah can you tell him that I am not here? I would rather not hear his nagging. That would be so annoying."
Even though Ariana's emotions were in turmoil, she nodded and agreed with Jeremy.
"I will," Ariana smiled and answered him before picking up the phone and striding out of the examination room.
She came to a stop in a corner where no one walked by and answered the call, "What is it, mother?"
The reason she answered this call was because Ariana knew that her mother could be stubborn when she needed something. Wasn't this why she changed her number for the fifth time after she blocked her previous numbers?
