Glynn winced when she heard the sharp note in her mother's questioning voice.
"Ariana Harlow, the woman who was married to Noah," Lexie answered in a surprised tone. She then turned to look at Glynn, "I was telling Glynn about it just now. It looks like after getting divorced, Miss Ariana is working in the hospital."
"Who got divorced?" Mrs Nelson's voice if possible turned even shriller. She absolutely abhorred the idea of anyone knowing that a man from the Nelson family got divorced.
She turned to look at Lexie and questioned sharply, "Who told you that the two of them got divorced? Noah and Ariana had a small quarrel and nothing more. They are currently at odds, of course, it's all due to that woman being foolish. But the matter is certainly not as serious as having a divorce."
Mrs Nelson couldn't accept this divorce and as long as she was not willing to accept it, she would certainly not let others find out.
