"You are all done, sir," said Ari as she placed the gauge on Mister Ledger's wound to stop the bleeding.
Mister Ledger didn't feel much difference as his lower body was numb, but he did feel much better. Maybe it was a psychological effect, but the man's lips curled in a smile, and he nodded, "I feel much better, Doctor."
Ari's heart fluttered when she heard Mister Ledger call her, 'Doctor'. It made her heart swell with pride, in fact, she was even happier than the day when she got married to Noah.
"Please try to keep the wounds on your back clean. Change the bandages every three hours and don't let water affect your wounds. In case you feel uncomfortable, you should tell the nurses or the doctors, I will check up on you at once," Ari gave a list of instructions to Mister Ledger who was smiling and nodding at every word of hers.
