When the police officer heard that Ariana had no one upon whom she could rely, his expression softened. He glanced at the bouquet and questioned, "When was this bouquet delivered to your house, Miss?"
"It was delivered just half an hour ago, someone rang a doorbell and left this on the front of my door. But when I opened the door, there was no one and there was only this card attached to the flowers," Ari relayed everything that happened to the police officer. She picked up the card and then showed it to the man who took it from her.
He read the dangerous yet weird message written on the card and pursed his lips.
"Do you have any suspects?" The police officer asked after he had done jotting down the information that was given to him.
