"Make sure to rest properly, Pallas," Nicolai dropped Ariana at her apartment. He glanced at the woman whose slender back was clad in a simple white tank top. He wanted to keep her with him a bit longer, but Nicolai knew that women like Ariana did not like exceptionally clingy men.
And even though he was stubborn as a bull to get this woman, Nicolai knew when to retreat.
Ariana glanced at Nicolai behind her and didn't say anything. In truth, she had no idea what to say to him. She was grateful that he had dealt with Mister Fletcher for her, but at the same time, Ariana was worried that this man had some hidden intentions. One that she could not fulfil.
"I will, thank you for today, Mister De Luca," though Ariana did not know how to treat Nicolai. She was still polite to him as the man had helped her, if not for Nicolai, who took her to the hospital, who knows what would have happened to her?
