Bret glanced at Ryan, who sat huddled in the corner of the coffee shop without saying much. Maybe he learned his lesson from his last encounters, he no longer created a racket, instead, he calmly purchased his coffee and sat in the corner without saying much.
It should have been a good thing but because of his persistence, Bret and Stella had to face Ryan for hours as he refused to leave.
Hearing his words, Stella sighed. At this point, she was getting tired of the lovers' quarrel but since this quarrel belonged to her boss, Stella did not pry her nose into it. Instead, she did the sensible thing and turned to look at Bret before saying, "Mister De Luca wants another latte."
"Got it," Bret got to work as he turned on the machine while grinding the coffee beans with a hand machine. "Why Latte, though? Isn't it too sweet for him? I thought he would like something more rugged like black coffee ?"
