'I'm... back here again.' The air is hot with blood dripping from my mouth. A cave filled with cages filled with monsters clawing and screaming from all sides. My arms and legs covered in their scratches. Bars of metal surrounding me with body parts lying in saliva. In front of me is the figure I always see whenever I took my mask off. The one that always speaks to me. He is in front of a table covered in tools, ones I never new how they worked but new what they did. Next to him on the left is an open barrel filled with a black liquid, on the right is an orange candle lighting up the hole room on top of the table.
'No... the other one.' I already know what will happen. It always stays the same.
"No no that's not right, maybe the other one will work." The tall man said while reaching for other
The tall man turned to the side slightly reviling ears that were cut off and a chard face while injecting vials of liquids into a mishmash monster covered in stiches. It squirmed in the tall mans hand. After a few moments the stiches on the monster began to stretch and elongate before ripping itself apart. The chunks contorted and morph into a smaller dog like beast with barely visible fangs. "Another advancement. If other parts are stuck on the body, the core can chose which parts is desirable. Most likely caused by would be that maybe the core remembered what the original body had and tries to replicate it by default. Such a good find. As Father once said 'One needs to fail in order for others to succeed'. And after all those missteps, we've gotten closer to the unknown core of potential power." The tall man said to himself as he always does. I could hear a noise in the back of my mind that wasn't there before. Something's different.
"Oh, good morning little one. Your up just in time. Would you like to see your new and improved sister?" The tall man said while holding up the monstrous fetus before me. It growled with a fake hunger while whimpering in between breaths.
"So far your bothers and sisters have been so very helpful with our progress. Truly, the hybridization mystery is within my reach, but the key is not fitting in just right. Don't worry to much. You are still my most precious little one. Soon I will make you the best killing weapon the world has seen yet. Just wait a little longer. I'll find a way without the need for those accursed Gods and Goddesses along with their unreliable Falna's." The tall leaned close to my face with eyes that swirled with mixing emotions. "Please wait a little bit more. I'm so close. The world will be so lucky to have you in it. Just a little more time." The tall man said to me like a curse. A permanent reminder that will never leave me no matter what I do.
"Your not talking much today. Are you tired?" The tall man asked while putting the monster into an empty cage.
'No...' I always think that way. Tired always means stop. I'm not allowed to stop.
"Are you in pain?" The tall man continued with sincerity as I didn't reply.
'Yes...' A nodding head always follows those words.
"That's a good thing. To feel pain means you are still alive. " The tall man said with his arms raised up.
'I... hate this part.' As always a candle falls onto the ground and rolls over to the open barrel. The flame goes from bright orange to a light consuming black.
"Not another fire, I just cleaned up the last one." The tall man said looking at the flames with little care. Some of the monsters start to become ravenous
'Don't... go' The tall man walks towards the fire slowly getting consumed with no reaction at all.
"I need to handle this mess again. Stay tight little one. .* **** *** ." The tall man said as he slowly melting away into ash and bone. His last words never reaching my ears, But I new what they were. He would always leave while saying them. I hated those words.
The black and yellow fire grew bigger and bigger until everything around us was being eaten alive. The monster, the cages, the body parts, until it reaches me. It stats to crawl up to me. Always stopping at my neck before eventually covering my face.
'Nothing's... changed. Its... still the same. I'm... still the same.' The other voice's starts to get louder and louder as the fire crackles in my ears.
"I'm..." a darkness surrounds me in a warm embrace until my senses felt a burning pain again.
.
"Blood Stalk!" I yelled to them which shocked them out of their daze. They seemed to be going in and out of consciousness. I can't even imagine what getting electrocuted from the inside out feels like. This was so much worse than when it happened this morning. Why did it have to be now?
Allen looked over at the knight getting electrocuted with many thoughts running through his head. 'What is happening? This was supposed to be a simple annoying errand, but its turned into a massive headache ever since this long ear showed up. Not only that, but now the knight looks like they could die at any moment from some kind of magic misfire or curse. Which means I might fail Goddess Freya. Why can't you drop dead after I delivered you to her?' Allen thought watching the knight getting electrocuted trying to get closer before unable to because of the unexpected headache moved in front of his face.
Sine kicked Allen's spear as while side eyeing Mark and Blood Stalk with a sinister smile. 'Seems like the distraction No Body and No Names causing is going so much better than I could have hoped for. now our little enemy is nice and distracted. JUST LIKE I WANT HIM! I wonder if one of us will end up dead? well, As Long As It's Fun And Entertaining. Maybe I Wouldn't Care Who Does. ' Sine thought while turning back to Allen. "don't get distracted, Cause OUR BATTLES JUST STARTING!" Sine yelled as lighting bolt's and sparks continue to erupt from our stomach.
Allen dodged the lighting strikes while trying to get closer to us but the devil intercepts him at every opportunity. Punching and dodging attacks with a carefree attitude. Every time Sine managed to hit Allen it would have little effect, but when Allen try to retaliate he couldn't because of the lighting following after him.
Sine suddenly grabed Allen's shoulder with one hand and flipped over him with lighting following behind the devil. Allen moved out of the way while turning around to regain line of sight with his opponent, only to get drop kicked in the mouth. Allen was staggered for a moment before landing a hit with the back end of his spear. He hit Sine in the stomach as the devil was sent to the left side.
Sine took off his mask again and breathed green flames point blank in Allen's face. However, Allen managed to put the spear tip in-between them before leaning backwards, forcing the flames apart and the heat to be transferred into the metal. Allen then charged at the devil after the flames stopped. Sine grabbed the spear and chucked it to us in a spinning motion rolling over Allen's back as he charged. Allen tried to grab his spear back with his finger tips barley touching the metal, but Sine grabed the hair on his head and pulled him back before he could fully grab it.
The spear lands in front of us with the tip imbedded into the ground still steaming from the fire. As it did Blood Stalk closed the helmet while still painting in pain.
Blood Stalk grabbed the still heated spear with steam and lighting releasing from our grip. After a moment the lighting emanating from our body starts to funnel into the spear. It began to shape shift into a blue and goldin appearance with strange hieroglyphics along the sides. The ends started to change into safire like gem with a symbol molded into the center. when it finished transforming the ends extended outward making a longer length.
"This is the dragon rod from Kuuga." I said realizing what this was from and admiring the transformed weapon. "How is this possible?" I asked myself as Allen and the trio looked on in shock at the transformed spear now staff. Sine was the only one that wasn't surprised and continued to attack Allen.
"Hope You Don't Mind but, while I was board out of my mind and you weren't looking, I Messed Around With The Rider System just a little bit." Sine said while getting kicked in the head by Allen. His face red with anger while staring between us and what was his spear.
"Don't tell me you-." I was about to question before Allen ran to us trying to grab our newly acquired weapon but Sine grabbed his legs with its hands before using its legs to wrap around Allen's neck.
"Used the Kuuga page yes. YES I DID! you can thank me later." Sine said while Allen grabbed its les trying to break free. He seemed to be going on insane
"THANK YOU?!" I yelled completely baffled by what the devil words. That reckless use caused Blood Stalk so much pain and left us unable to fight for so long.
"YOUR WELCOME!" Sine said with a genuine tone before getting pulled of of Allen and slammed back first into the ground so hard that the rocks formed a crater. Sine's body started to slowly disintegrate after that last hit. "That one hurt. Seems my times up early this go around, Don't miss me to much. The Rest Is Silence.-" Sine was about to say something else before Allen stopped his right foot down onto its chest, crushing the devil until it turned into dust. Allen looked confused for a moment before lashing out, continuing to stomp on the now cracked letting out a frustrated scream at the end.
.
"Thank... you." Blood Stalk said as Sine completely disappeared into ashes and I couldn't hear its voice anymore. It was strangely quiet after the demon disappeared.
We finally got back up with the help of the staff and see Allen eye to eye. He's hair has become disheveled with two tuffs of hair standing up and he was breathing heavily while hunched over. His eyes have become agitated with red veins pulsing along the sides.
"I don't know who that long ear freak was or how he managed to escape. But if you don't want to end up as this pile of ash than stop this pointless resistance. It doesn't matter how long it takes, your going back with me." Allen said while trying to composing himself.
It was clear to me that Allen was prepared to do whatever it took to catch us. I don't know what he wants with us but one things for sure, we won't go down quietly. We readied ourselves with our new weapon including a newly found resolve to defeat this enemy before us.
Allen moved first trying to kick our right side but we blocked it with our staff. He then punched us in face landing a hit. Before he could pull back his fist we smack the back of his wrist with the staff. it didn't seem to hurt him that much either since Allen then began to punch us rapidly again. We get hit a few times but managed to keep our distance with the staff.
Allen then moved trying to grab the staff back from us, but we retracted the ends so he missies and ran into the wall, punching a hole through it. "This was never going to be a fair fight, right." Allen said with a tired tone. It seems we are finally winning and I wanted to keep the pressure on so I looked at the gun.
I flick the gun and see the three screens appear again and click on the one with multiple silhouette. As the screens disappears I pull the trigger causing steam to shoot out of the barrel. It swirls in the air for a few moments before dispersing into five smaller grey clouds lined up next to Blood Stalk and I. The clouds descended and started to change their shapes and colors until they resembled our suit in the same stance we were in. "Your right this isn't a fair fight." I said as our clones began to move on their own.
.
"Hun, you were right Azure, they can make more of themselves." Strixs said surprised by the sudden turn of events. "Do you think that's a skill or is it one of their magic weapons?" Strixs asked while helping Alcazar up off the ground, leaning against the wall.
"It's probably both." Azure replied almost fully recovered. Alcazar looked at the fight and simply scoffed at the sight. "The only reason that knight is still standing is because of that dark elf. Now that he's out of the picture, Allen's superiors level basically guarantees victory. "Alcazar said dismissively. Like the battle has already been decided.
"Well, its not like we know the knight's level so it could be close. He also has a bunch of secret magic tools which could give him the edge." Strixs said trying to keep the conversation going. "Half of me wants to see them die. The other half want this to keep going. Its great seeing the ones you hate beat each other up." Strixs continued while opening some trail mix ready to eat.
"No mater who wins this we loose." Azure said excepting that they have already lost. " They both are to strong for us new level one's anyways. We should have never come down here in the first place. There's no way we could get the knight away from Allen long enough to deliver him to our Goddess." He finished his sentence
"Yeah, maybe we should right.-Unless, Allen had some kind of accident. One he be to tired to escape from and couldn't get out of. Leaving that knight right in our laps." Alcazar said before coming into a realization. He looked at the remains of his broken shield still emitting electricity. He then looked at the walls that were damaged in the fight and began to smile. "Yes. Yes. that could work." Alcazar said with one hand on his chin started to think of a plan. One the other two could have never considered a possibility before.
At that thought, Strixs and Azure looked at each other with worry and excited expressions, not knowing what their friend had in store for all of them.
