A pillar of raging black thunder roared towards the sky, signifying the end of the world. What emerged from that red mass was not human nor a curse, but an entirely new breed of monster. It possessed four great bulking arms all disfigured and deformed but quite powerful. It grew a second face at the back of its head, with no eyes or mouth but still, struck fear into those that looked its way. It also possessed a giant mouth which stretched across its torso, threatening to split him in half.
That wasn't all that had happened to him however.. his entire mind had been refreshed. His old consciousness and memories were still there, and he was certain that he was in control, but there were new things too now.
Sukunas memories.
And there was still even more. Professor Mozu never had a cursed technique, but he still had an innate domain much like everyone else which was forcefully fused with Sukuna's thanks to the Soul Sealing brace.
Sukuna's consciousness was there too, but it seemed trapped.
Despite the attempt to transform himself into the shape of sukuna, it was clearly imperfect but the strength he exuded was undeniable.
'Another special grade...'
It looked around its surroundings, taking in its first view of the world after being reborn anew. This man was Dr. Mozu, a former scientist and now, the new king of curses.
It looked at the palm of its own hand, before investigating its new body. It then grabbed the soul sealing brace around its neck, before tearing it off with ease.
"This power... its wonderful! My entire body has been revitalised! Is this how Owari Gojo feels!? I could rule.. the world.. yes! That sounds nice! I'll kill them all, and then rule the world!"
Kladd screamed as he forced himself of his feet. Despite how weakened he was, the sheer rage at the betrayal gave him the strength to stand once more. But just as quickly as he rose, the top half of his body was cleanly sliced off by an invisible slash.
He perished instantly.
His defiled cursed energy was spilling out everywhere, causing Akumu and Yukiko immense fear as they froze in place. Was this how Hagone felt too? His attention wasn't even turned towards them at the moment,
He knew very well that they were dead. He was somewhat confident against kladd as he was weakened from Kenji's black flashes, and having expanded his domain his regeneration slowed down, but this was different from all of that. Sukuna himself was essentially standing right in front of the two.
'This is only 1/20th of his power?? How the hell did they beat them 100 years ago?? '
A primal instinct then took over his body, he didn't care about Taori anymore who was barely breathing, he didn't care about Kenji who was slumped unconscious somewhere, he needed to get out of there instantly.
'I can't.. I can't kill him! I have to run!'
He immediately turned around while picking up Yukiko by the legs, and ran like hell. The girl didn't even have the strength to get flustered, due to Sukuna's... Mozu's overbearing presence.
Even if he was going to abandon his friends with cloudy head, he had to get Yukiko out of there at least. He didn't know why, but he simply had to.
And then, Mozu's attention suddenly shifted. Like noticing the small grains of sand shifting from underground vibrations, Mozu noticed that two people were escaping his grasp.
He then moved with such speed, that it seemed like instant teleportation. Suddenly, he was now standing in front of Akumu with malevolent intent in his eyes. And without uttering a word, he back handed him with his lower right fist.
Akumu was instantly sent flying back as he felt his jaw break while Yukiko fell onto the ground. Mozu on the other hand, completely ignored her as he walked towards Akumu.
Yukiko realising Akumu was in danger, fired a slash of wind at him.
Despite how risky it was, even though she could've taken this chance to escape, she had to fight back.
It wasn't for any logical reason, but it was for one which couldn't be described by words.
The slash of wind hit the back of Mozu's head, but he still ignored her and kept advancing over to Akumu. He then picked him up by the head, before steamrolling his entire body through the forest. Numerous amounts of trees and debris were uplifted, as the entire placed was blasted into the sky.
All because Mozu was using Akumu's body like a plow, dragging him through it to make sure he died in the most painful way possible.
At the end of it, a decent stretch of the forest had been completely leveled as Akumu was left slumped in the ground. A trail of blood could be seen left behind from his body as it was face down in the dirt.
The four armed fiend was standing over him as he complimented,
"Your still in one piece? Impressive! Or was this strength not as great as I thought?"
He then picked up Akumu by the neck with his upper right hand, staring at his terribly beaten face. It was completely drenched in blood, so you couldn't even see his eyes or nose. He was certain that he was dead, but this person irritated him for some reason. So much so that he wanted to completely mutilate Akumu's body before he was satisfied.
It was possible that the Soul Sealing brace wasn't perfect, and this parts of Sukuna's personality was already taking control, but Mozu didn't care.
"I can keep going a little longer."
Just before he could snap his neck with ease, he suddenly felt his entire body freeze as it was then compressed into a 2D image of itself. Hagone who had frozen him with his Cursed Technique, tried to slit his throat, but the grade 3 demon dagger cursed tool was shattered into pieces.
Quickly he grabbed Akumu before backing away as the one second ended.
"..."
Once again Hagone was put against an impossibly powerful opponent. Once again, his will to fight was being tested, but unlike Kladd, he didn't back down. He had already fallen before despair once, and would not allow it to take him again.
"I won't sit by and do nothing as I watch my friends be killed! Not again, not ever!"
It was a common fact that Hagone was from the Zenin clan, and it was also common knowledge that they used to be on of the big families 100 years ago. However the entire family was massacred by an unknown assailant, and all the cursed tools he was supposed to receive was lost to the passage of time. Everything he was supposed to inherit was gone, even his parents had disappeared, leaving him alone with his grandma.
Hagone used to be alone, but Kai was there with him. He wouldn't let him die, not while he was still standing.
Hagone activated his cursed technique, and quickly started to make his way towards Mozu again, but this time the fiend had anticipated his movements.
'Ah.'
**
Akumu had once again returned to his innate domain. It was still luminous white much like before, but black stars of darkness had already started to spread from the inside.
Of course, his unsightly shadow was standing in front of him, taunting with it's hateful words.
"This is so funny really! Your going to die before your revenge could even begin, but it's even funnier because this was Senjuro's fault too. This whole thing is simply hilarious!"
"..."
"I've seen everything you've done ya know. You said that if you lost once, you'd get back up! So come one! Get up! Let me see you fight once more!"
"..."
"What else was it that you said? You'll inherit Misoto's dream to become a Jujutsu Sorcerer with the life that he saved? What a shallow promise! Not even a week has passed, and you've broken it already!"
His voice suddenly turned low, as he whispered straight into Akumu's ear,
"I told you, as long as you don't accept me, everyone around us will be fated to die. But you can't do that can you? As long as that foolish idea that I'm the ones that's evil, and your in the right is stuck in your head, as long as you remain the delusional one, you will forever be incapable of that.
That is why Misoto died that day, That is why you lost to Kenji, that is why all your friends are going to be killed by Mozu, that is why, you will never be able to kill Senjuro yourself."
And then something snapped in him. Something inside Akumu finally broke. He lunged at the shadow with rage in his eyes as he grabbed it by the neck as he tried to strangle him to death. The world around them seemed to bleed darkness, while the shadow didn't even try to fight back.
Instead, it muttered under its dying breath,
"Good. That's good. Don't say anything now, it will all be over soon."
