Red went back to his office afterward. His co-worker, who he was with earlier, was waiting for him in front.
"How is it? Did the coach scold you or something?" Red's co-worker, James, expressed his worry.
"Not really. The coach just asked me something." Red answered with a smile on his face.
Red looked relaxed, as if he hadn't just got out of a battle.
James scratched the back of his head. His black hair became disheveled because of it.
"That's good then. I was worried that you got scolded for watching. I almost panicked earlier." James' chinky brown eyes became even smaller as he chuckled, showing off his protruding jawline.
Red laughed together with James. He glanced back at the door and looked at the time on his watch.
By this time, he was sure that the players of Mystic Ravens probably had found out and realized what happened in the game.
After the game, Red was able to calm down and relax. He had already moved on from the insults that he got from Hubert, knowing that he proved all of it wrong.
Red was just curious about how things would unfold now.
"Oh, right," James snapped his fingers when he remembered something. "The higher-ups told us that we could go home early today since there's not much to do."
Red's lips beamed a smile at what he heard.
What a good news.
"You're going then?" Red asked James as he noticed the bag that he was wearing on his back.
"Is it obvious? Hahaha," James laughed out loud as he showed off his black backpack. "Since it's the weekend tomorrow, then I might as well go home and visit my family."
"Oh, that's good," Red slowly nodded. "Goodbye then. I'll just get my things and leave, too." Red patted James' broad shoulders.
James nodded, waving his hands. "Take care, Man."
As James left the room, Red walked inside their office, towards his desk. It was on the far right side, the last in the row.
"It seemed like the announcement was done an hour ago already," Red sighed when he noticed that all the computers in their office were already turned off, except his.
Red took a deep breath and proceeded to get all oh his things so he could go home already. He also turned off his computer and removed all the plugged-in wires since they'll be back on Monday already.
Red, after making sure that their office was good, left their office. He went to the parking lot and rode in his own car.
"Ahh, so tiring."
Red exhaustedly sat on the coach. He just let his things fall on the ground, not even bothering to pick it up.
Red glanced over at his bed before his computer.
"Should I sleep or play?"
Deciding between sleeping and playing, Red closed his eyes and followed what his hands want.
"It's time to play," Red energetically muttered as he suddenly stood up.
He just hung his clothes and grabbed some cola from the fridge before settling down on his gaming chair. His chair was so comfortable that your butt wouldn't hurt after hours of playing.
Red opened up his computer. In the past, he only used his computer to work and for leisure activities, such as watching videos or movies on Youbox or YetFlex.
After playing in the internet cafe a week ago, it was Red's first time playing the game again, besides earlier.
Red comfortably laid his back against the chair. He updated the game on his computer, which didn't take too long because of his fast internet speed.
As Red logged in to the game, the familiar landscape greeted him once again.
Red couldn't help but smile as he looked at his character in the game. He just thought of it now, but he was proud of what he had achieved in the game so far.
Red looked at the
[Ding!]
Hearing a sound, Red immediately looked at where it came from.
Just as he was expecting, a message notification popped out at the bottom left of his screen.
[Bright Sun: Is that you, Red?]
[RedBaoFan: No.]
[Bright Sun: Woahhh! You're back, Boss!]
Red chuckled, almost hearing Solar's voice in his ears after reading the message.
A smile appeared on Red's lips.
Among all the members of Blazing Faze, he and Solar have known each other the longest.
The two of them attended the same primary school and grade school. You can say that they have been friends since they were a child.
[Bright Sun: Are you ready for tomorrow?]
Red's smile immediately dropped after seeing Solar's message. He looked at the calendar on the side of his desk and found nothing written on it.
[Bright Sun: You forgot, didn't you?]
"..."
After receiving no response after a few minutes, Solar concluded in is mind that Red had forgotten about what she was talking about.
One thing about Red that she knew for sure was that, if things get chaotic, Red had a tendency to forget some things or information.
That's why, in the past, they would usually write down any plans or schedules ahead of time.
[RedBaoFan: You got me there.]
Red after trying to think about it, typed in the chat.
[Smiling Sun: Dumbo! Tomorrow is our reunion! Check our gc for more details.]
"Oh sh*t." Red cursed in a low voice as he took his phone to check his inbox. That's when he noticed he hadn't looked at any of the messages since 5 days ago.
As Red scrolled through the chat, he saw the plan laid out for tomorrow.
[RedBaoFan: See you tomorrow then.]
Red took a deep breath as he stared at his computer's screen. His lips curved upwards, forming a wide smile on his face.
He couldn't wait to meet his friends tomorrow.
