Kalsie and Jessica stepped out of the mansion, a large building that appeared immense from the outside. Colorful gardens, bubbling fountains, and busy workers added to the vibrant atmosphere around them.
"I never thought I'd live in such a fancy mansion," Kalsie marveled at the grandeur around him.
"This mansion has been around for ages, only the Crux family and a few key staff members like Mr. Alex and the head maid have lived here," Jessica explained.
Curiosity sparked in Kalsie when Jessica mentioned the head maid.
"Doesn't it feel strange when Mr. Alex keeps bowing all the time?" Kalsie asked, noticing the butler's deference.
Jessica sighed. "I've tried to stop him, but he gets emotional every time, and it makes me feel worse. Don't worry you will soon get accustomed to it."
Kalsie then asked, "How powerful is he?"
