A strange noise of teeth clashing against each other echoed in a distant place where there was a dead-end inside the maze.
The surroundings looked eerie and smelled awful with blood splashed everywhere.
There wasn't a single spot where the blood drops hadn't reached. It was as if something gruesome happened over this place.
At the end of the blood-soaked wall and ground, there lay a body, lifeless.
A body so gruesome that it had deep wounds and cuts everywhere on it, along with its insides spilt outside. But the body wasn't alone.
Chatter. Chatter. Chatter.
A boy lay beside the lifeless body, his teeth chattering uncontrollably despite the warmth of the surroundings.
His eyes, once filled with vitality, now appeared hollow and feeble.
Tremors wracked his entire frame, as if he were caught in an eternal chill, despite the rising temperature.
