After entering the almost empty place, Aaron looked around and saw some unwelcoming gazes. The tavern keeper just ignored him as well… until Aaron began to step heavily on the ground… it was made of brick, but it made a lot of noise.
"Hey, what are you doing?" The tavern keeper asked.
"Nothing," Aaron said until he heard a faint sound of wood.
Aaron approached the place where the sound came from and soon found some marks on the ground that gave shape to a square. After looking around for a bit, he didn't find anything odd, but he didn't hesitate to kick the ground and reveal a secret compartment as the bricks fell down a staircase.
"Where does this lead to?" Aaron asked.
"I am going to call the guards!" The tavern keeper said.
"Go on, explain to them as well why you have such a thing here that probably leads to beyond the city, and no one is aware of.
