As Aaron cautiously crossed the streets of the capital, his senses heightened to compensate for the dense shroud of smoke that enveloped his surroundings. With each step forward, he kept his guard up, very aware of the potential dangers lurking in the obscured landscape. The thick smoke obscured his vision, rendering the buildings ahead barely visible, mere silhouettes in the haze.
