They had come to accept it. There was no other option but to accept it. Halo Johnson was getting married to King Jamal Abdulkareem and nobody had a say in the matter not even Halo herself. It had taken a whole lot of crying and arguments and convincing but they had managed to come to terms with it. All of them except Daniel.
Halo could hardly blame him. He had been in love with her since they were kids and now she was being taken away from him by a man that he couldn't even stand up to. He had felt so angry and helpless and had stormed out of her house the night that the news had been delivered and had been keeping a noticeable distance from her.
Halo couldn't deny that she missed him. Even if she had never felt the same way for him she had still considered him a part of her family and she wanted him around especially now that she felt so lost and in need of support.
