The three reached the room, and Iris opened it, revealing a huge bedroom with a king-sized bed, a bathroom, and a balcony.
"This is where you'll be staying as we wait for the party," she smiled.
"Alright," Max nodded, and then looked at Elly, who was already jumping on the bed, "when is that party by the way?"
"In three days," Iris smiled, "I need to cover some business for now, but I will be back soon, do not forget that you are my guard and that you will have to accompany me, so please be at the bestest of shapes."
"Yes, but don't be late."
Max didn't care about social status or anything of the sort, he talked normally to everybody, and Iris found that charming as he wasn't scared of her position or anything of the sort (also maybe because he was far stronger than her).
And just like that, the wolf goddess, left Elly and Max alone yet again, but this time in a room a hundred times better than the one they were previously in.
