They had left the inn at around 2 pm, and gave back their keys to the receptionist.
"But sir, you still have twelve days-"
"It's fine," Max confirmed, although it hurt him to have paid money for nothing, "we have to leave early."
"Very well," the receptionist nodded, "have a good day."
"You too," Elly smiled, and then the two left the inn.
"So, who are we meeting?" she asked, curious.
"A girl," he replied, "she is an... um... connection I made recently."
"..." The mention of a girl did make Elly's eyebrows slightly twitch, but she hid it from Max.
And thus, they spent a few hours going around the kingdom, and eventually, once the clock slowly announced that the meeting time was arriving, they stopped whatever they were doing and headed toward the 'nermal cafe'.
