The fight between Max and the Arachnite was heating up, and Lilia was still busy creating a barrier around Elly, who had gotten knocked out by the venomous web, so the young assassin knew he still needed to keep going, even though he had received a lot of slight injuries because of the spider's legs.
"You dare try to invade my nest yet you dare fight, you puny humans never learn," the spider charged forward, something it had never done before, taking Max by surprise as he was hit by it's body, sending him flying towards the wall.
"Ugh," he groaned, feeling the pain of his back hitting the surface, but luckily his endurance was high enough to withstand the attack.
"Now die," the spider rushed towards him for the second time, and tried to stab him with its legs as he was pinned to the ground, but Max was able to dodge at the last second, and slash one of its legs.
