Max was injured, and although he didn't feel the pain, it was obvious that his movements were restricted because of the blow he received, he could feel blood dripping down his face and staining his clothes, yet he didn't care
But he wasn't the only one at a disadvantage: the X cut Max formed on the Hakavie's head hit its eyes, essentially partially blinding it and making its accuracy lower.
Despite these disadvantages, both the Hakavie demon and Max remained focused on their respective goals: murder the other.
The monster was using a large amount of its life force to keep itself in this state, so it needed to be quick.
While Max on the other hand was waiting for the perfect opportunity to activate 'Time Cut' and end the fight.
