Elliot chuckled, his voice echoing through the luxurious office as smoke swirled around him. He took another long drag from his cigar and smiled at Max, who was sitting in front of him, a smirk on his face
"If that is everything you wanted to know, then I can guess you can take your leave," he pointed at the door.
He had informed Max that any person who isn't deemed as useful for the world or is too weak will be disposed of, yet he let him leave as if it were nothing.
"Fine," Max complied with the request regardless as he knew that Eliot had already known about his suspicions and that he knew how twisted the academy truly was.
But before the assassin could leave, Elliot could be heard again, "I would advise you to keep down, Dreyer doesn't know about you yet, but if he knows the person he was supposed to kill was still alive, I am confident he will try his best to get rid of you."
"Then I will just have to kill him," Max smiled.
