The first thing Max did after checking his status window, which hadn't changed much after half a year since the required amount of APs was enormous, and the fact he was fighting people or monsters lower than him made it difficult, was activate the [assassin's knowledge] skill.
The brown book appeared in front of him, it had been his best friend since he started doing these quests as it gave him the info he needed every week without fault.
He didn't wast time though, "as usual… show me the location of the dark vampire."
The brown book glowed softly before revealing a map with a pinpoint marking the location of the Dark Vampire's lair. Max studied the map intently, committing every detail to memory before closing the book with a resolute expression. He knew this mission would be his toughest yet, but he was determined to see it through.
