Max confidently strode through the auction house, his disguise impeccable.
The other guests, unaware of his true identity, moved gracefully around him and would greet him out of respect once in awhile, their eyes fixed on the artifacts displayed under the spotlights.
As he approached the black market section, Max spotted the auctioneer, a tall man with slicked-back hair and a sharp suit.
"Mr. Leo, it's an honor to have you here," the auctioneer said, extending his hand, "Please come to the back stage, the artifacts will be displayed there, you will be the one to present everything."
Leo, aka Max, nodded, "I feel like this auction's going to be great."
"The Eye of Barli is truly a magnificent artifact, our security is at its maximum and we have only invited the richest of citizens here," the man pointed toward a door, and Max followed him.
