Lex brandished his sword and again shot at Kendra. All this while, he didn't forget Katelyn who was keeping some distance but was still close to Kendra.
Lex then ignored her and once again attacked Kendra with his sword. However, what she did next was so unexpected that Lex forgot to react for a second.
Kendra instead of dodging simply caught the sword with her bare hands and crushed it. The sword instantly broke and shattered. Only the hilt was left in Lex's hand and other pieces simply fell on the ground.
'Shit! Just what kind of ability does she have? Can she really absorb any kind of physical attacks?'
Lex cursed and threw aside the broken sword. While doing so, he ducked down barely dodging a heavy punch that passed through his ears, sending shivers down his spine.
