Lex and others entered the ruined city with their hands on their weapons and eyes filled with cautiousness.
"This place sure is creepy, huh," Denver said, kicking off a stone that rolled down the road and entered a destroyed alleyway.
"Don't just kick things, idiot," Lex smacked Denver's head, "What if it-"
Lex couldn't even complete his sentence as he heard a growling sound. He closed his mouth and looked at Denver with an annoyed look.
"Just how dumb are you?" Lisa cast a disdainful look at Denver. "Now, you'll be the one to deal with it."
"Fine! It's probably just a rat," Denver shrugged and stepped forward fearlessly. He brandished the spear he had brought and waited as he could hear the growling sound coming closer.
