Under a dark sky, ruined houses were showing signs of being decayed over centuries. Veins and moss grew around the trees that had rotted over the passage of time. Some held on but were turned into strange and terrifying monstrosities by the same curse that had befallen the city.
Many strange inhabitants of this city stayed in the shadows of these trees and houses, either afraid or waiting for their prey. Some had eyes that blaze like infernos, while others had mouths filled with rows of razor-sharp teeth. They moved with an unnatural grace, slithering and crawling through the ruins in search of prey.
Amidst this scene of pure destruction, many figures sat atop a tall building that was in a better state than others, mainly because it had been modified slightly.
