Hearing the system's words, Lex realised that how lucky he was. Because of so many coincidences, he was alive otherwise he would have died so many times.

She felt unease knowing that Lex was in a possession of an object that could potentially kill him and everyone anytime. Even though Lex had said that he had sealed it, but what was the guarantee that it wouldn't unseal somehow and do something to Lex.
That's why she didn't want Lex to have the branch with him. Especially after what happened last night, that was too scary for even her.
What if something similar happens again and the next time Lex didn't wake up? Just that alone was enough to fill her heart with dread.
