Lex walked out of the Dean's home and wandered around on the Academy's grounds, his mind still filled with Bella's words.
Feeling frustration piling up, he groaned, "So much info dump today. What do I even focus on?"
[Probably on the matter of taking her as your master.]
"You think so?"
[Yeah, I mean, she didn't lie when she talked about the fucked-up future. Even you can guess it, judging from how fast things are progressing.]
Lex sighed. Even though he wanted to deny it, he knew it was the truth. Things were getting messed up, and the future... he didn't want to think about it because he knew it won't be peaceful.
He knew that taking training from Bella was the best choice. She was experienced and could definitely help him progress much faster than he would by himself.
