The boy put down his hand awkwardly and swore never to ask Amber anything again. This was the second time he had been ignored, and he was so embarrassed.

"Alright, so I'm sure all of you already have a basic understanding of Sereto, so I won't make the introduction long," Amber explained, looking at everyone.
"Sereto is the first language of the world; well, that's what we believe and have proof of, at least. That's why it is recognized as the universal language, and all ten domains use it. Even though every domain has its own language, they're all derived from Setero, so it doesn't really matter."
