Marvin narrowed his eyes as all of his happiness faded away like dust. He didn't care about anything now that there was a chance that The Obsidian Council had again tried to take someone away from him.
He remembered how Lex had talked about the Obsidian Council and guessed they were the ones who almost killed Lex. Forget that he had also begun to like Lex; there were also Lex's parents. He owed them, and if he let their son die like this, he would never be able to face them.
"Calm down. It isn't those Bastards," Grandpa Max patted Marvin's shoulder and said. "Or maybe they are, but it's not confirmed."
Marvin took a deep breath to calm down and asked, "Can you quit with riddles and tell me already?"
"I will when you bring your anger from 7th heaven to earth," Grandpa Max rolled his eyes at him.
"Hmm? What's with this serious atmosphere? Did something happen?"
